Adios Guadalupe

Sad day... well kind of... Guadalupe (our Pontiac Grand Am) finally gave up the ghost the first of the month. Jordan had been driving it to work, and called me stranded on the side of the freeway to rescue him.  After a little gas it started up again, but then the "check engine" light came on, and it kept stalling every time he stopped.  Not good.  We were planning on waiting to buy a new car, but once this happened and we got the notice it was time to register the car again, which would entail replacing the windshield, changing the oil, and fixing all the said problems we figured getting a new car sooner rather than later would be the best idea.  

So here it is, our new car, a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe.  I love it!  The dealership traded in Guadalupe in all her glory, busted up back bumper, and everything for $2000! ...And they threw in new leather interior for the Santa Fe so we couldn't resist.  We're loving it.
