I ran the Ragnar Relay last Friday & Saturday with my Dad. I actually did it!! I've been training super hard. I've been running almost every day and then doing long runs with my Dad every Saturday to prepare. We had a team of 12 runners, and started at 2:00 pm Friday. It was a relay from Logan to Park City. I was runner #2, Dad was #6. My total mileage was around 13-14 miles. Dad's was closer to 20. He's a stud. He had some crazy hard legs to run. My first run was at 3:30 pm, 2nd was 12:30 am, 3rd 9:30am. I got about 2 hrs of sleep total in those 2 days. AWESOME!! And the rest of the time we were cramped in a suburban with 6 people. It sounds crazy, but it was so much fun. I loved doing this with my Dad. I was so proud of him, especially when he ran his crazy 8+ mile run up hill through a canyon at 4:30 am. Is he seriously 63?!!! I may have been sleep deprived, had tired legs, and lost my voice from cheering so loud, but I had fun and was proud of myself, and that's all that matters. So what's my answer to the question, "will you do it again?"... Probably :)
