Tis the season for... Gamble Chocolates & Heart-Shaped Antacids

Valentines' Day is just around the corner. I realized this when I went to the store and saw the "gamble chocolates" and "heart-shaped antacids"out on the shelves. It made me think of this funny clip from one of mine and Jordan's favorite comedians, Jim Gaffigan. "I know I make you nautious, here's a tums with "hug me" written on it." Hehe maybe I'm retarded, but I find that super funny and thought I'd share. You'll never look at conversation hearts the same! Happy Valentine's Day!

An Exciting New Purchase

Hooray, this week Jordan and I decided it was time to bite the bullet, and get a lap top. Jordan has most of his classes online, so we figured it would be a worthwhile investment. We also got the internet hooked up this week. So it's been doubly exciting. One reason I told Jordan I was excited to get the laptop was so that I could take my blogging to a whole new level!!! (he rolled his eyes of course)

2008 In Review

We started the year off as newlyweds and got Jordan started his second semester of school at Weber. While I continued working as a Dental Assistant for the Morgans.

We both got church callings to start the year off. Jordan's in Elders Quorum and I'm the Activity Day Girl's leader.

In March I got accepted to the Dental Hygiene program at Weber State and I found that there was a light at the end of the tunnel! One day I would have a real degree, and a real job!!!

In May Jordan and I went on a little cruise. We stopped in San Diego (Jordan's first time ever to California!!!) and went to Sea World. Then we went to Ensenada, Mexico which was kind of ghetto, but fun. The weather was bad the whole time so we missed out stop to Catalina Island, and came back whiter that when we left, but we had a really fun time being together. Even though Jordan didn't even get to touch the ocean.

We planned a trip with my parents and McKenzie to go to Disneyland in July. It was so much fun!! We drove through Vegas and stayed in LA for a week and paid the $4.50 gallon for gas price! Yikes!!! We went to every beach on the coast, and to Disneyland. It was so much fun!!

Jordan got promoted at the bank while I quit my job with lots of tears to start school in the Fall.
We worked our butts off, but successfully made it through another semester of school. Hooray!

We then celebrated our 2nd Christmas and our 1st Anniversary in December.

2008... A wonderful year for a wonderful first year of Marriage!!
