Happy One Year Anniversary!!

Jordan and I celebrated our 1st Anniversary on the 15th. Crazy how fast time flies. We celebrated by going out to dinner and to the Jazz game. Jordan gave me this sweet jersey to wear to the game. We had a lot of fun, besides the fact that our car died and we had to buy a new battery after 2 hours trying to fix it in the freezing -100 degree weather we had that day. I love you Jordan! I am so happy to be able to share my life with you!

OPEN WIDE!!!

Jordan was such a sweetheart and came in and let me clean his teeth at school the other day. It was my first time working on a real-live person (besides my fellow students) so it was extra exciting. It was so fun! (And I only made him bleed a little) hehe I'm on my way I guess you could say. Before you know it you'll all be calling me "Hygienist Harrison" (okay, that's a little sick, but funny)

Anyway... here's my little plug. If any of you would like your teeth cleaned (by someone super fabulous mind-you), I would LOVE to do it! I need to start seeing patients weekly starting in January so I'm on the hunt for willing friends and family. It's only $28 for a cleaning. Let me know if you're interested or if you know someone who would be...I know you all just want to help your little Shalyce out.

An Incredible Night for The UTE Fans!!

Dad decided he'd throw a little "Holy- War" party in honor of his hopes that BYU would kill the Utes. But was he ever wrong. Jordan and I were the only Ute fans there, but don't worry, we held our own.
UTES WIN!!!!

Here's some photos of our lovely BYU fans. Adam and Dad look so excited. McKenzie showing her spirit with her lovely blue eyeshadow.

Remembering Grandma

This last weekend marked One year since Grandma passed away. I've been thinking about her and thought I'd just share some memories I have of my wonderful, sweet Grandma John.

Grandma had the most beautiful perfect white hair. I always thought she was the cutest, most "classic" looking grandma ever. I mowed her lawn for lots of years. Even though she was getting old she'd never let me do it alone. She'd always insit on dumping the grass, and when I was younger she'd push me back to the lawn mower in the wheel barrow. When we'd finish the lawn we'd have a glass of Rootbeer together or run across the street to RB's for a candy bar.

Christmas candy... No one makes better Divinity or fudge. Christmas always reminds me of her.

Speaking of candy, I loved snitching a treat from Grandma's candy dish or a Star Crunch (usually a stale one) from the cupboard.

Hugs. Everytime I was with her I got a million hugs. There was never a doubt in my mind that she loved me. Her family was her everything.

Grandma's beautiful yard and garden. Sometimes I find myself singing, "I have a garden, a lovely garden..." now, and everytime I see a pink rose I think of her.

Grandma's testimony. Every card I got from her has her testimony written in it. That is something I treasure more than anything now.

I love you Grandma! I miss you, it's been a long year without you but I know that we'll be together again. I'm grateful for the many memories we shared.

Happy Halloween!!!

This is not an announcement...
This was strictly Jordan's idea of a halloween costume.
He claims he's a pro when it comes to "white trash" since he lived in Atlanta. So... here we are Trash central, and barefoot and pregnant. We couldn't resist the Hot Pocket joke because we love the comedian Jeff Gaffigan. He does this thing about eating Hot Pockets in a trailer, and its hilarious so that's the meaning behind that.
(yet again, Jordan's idea.)

I was a little saddened this Halloween to find out that I am turning into an old woman. When Jordan and I were dating we used to watch scary movies all the time, and we tried to watch one last night for Halloween and I almost cried 20 min. into it. So we turned it off and ended up watching
Seinfeld instead. Ya, I'm lame.
