Happiness is...

I am so happy! Life is slowing down a little bit now. My $2000 worth of Dental Hygiene boards are over now, and I feel relieved. I passed my written and clinical Anesthesia tests, and just found out the other day that I not only passed my clinical but got 100% on it!! I have been so blessed. My family has been incredible through all of this. The night before the big week of tests my Mom and Dad threw me a Good Luck St. Patrick's Day Party. It was so cute. We had dinner, and everyone had a paper shamrock that they wrote their best wishes for me on. Alyssa told me that if I'm nice to the leprechaun's I'll pass.

Then everyone had to choose a balloon and pop it. A few lucky people had papers in their balloons that had a special task for them. Kim's said to give me a big good luck smooch! ha! Then McKenzie's said to paint my toenail's Good Luck Green. (It looked more like fungus, but I still kept them painted all week), and my Dad had to give me the top 5 reasons why I was going to pass. His #1 reason was because he himself is brilliant, and I have his genes. It was a really fun night, and really calmed my nerves. Jordan gave me a blessing that night, and I was set.
This is a picture of one of my best friends Charlotte and me after finding out we passed Anesthesia. You can't tell we were excited right?!
Jordan was my saving grace through this week. I had my tests Thursday and Friday, and he took both days off of work to be with me. Thursday he came up to school to be my back up patient for Anesthesia, and then Friday he drove me and my patient to school, and came to be my translator for my Spanish speaking patient Luis, and waited 5 hours for us to be done. I can't tell you how much his Spanish has blessed my life through Hygiene School. I totally have an advantage having him to translate for me and call my patients. I love you Jordan, Thank You! After I passed my Anesthesia test Jordan asked how I wanted to celebrate. I requested the first tennis game of the season. So we went straight out and played, and it felt amazing! Oh how I've missed spring, and have had tennis fever!

Jordan then went out and gave me the gift of relaxation by getting me a massage at Massage Envy. It was great. I've been so spoiled, and so blessed. So 3 tests down, one to go. Hopefully I'll get my results from my 7 hour long written test later this week, and then it's off to the real world I go.
Also... we decided not to go to Disneyland for graduation. Instead we decided to head to sunny Arizona to see these cute kiddos. I'm sooo excited!
Life is good!

WISH ME LUCK!

Wish me all the luck I can have. Tomorrow begins my 5 day sprint of Dental Hygiene Boards. Tomorrow I have my 2 Anesthesia tests, then Friday I have my Clinical, and Monday I take my Dental Hygiene Written exam. Wow!!! Wish me luck. I'm trying to believe I don't need luck, but I figured wishing on this 4 leaf clover wouldn't hurt.

My Sweet Hubby

I love my sweet husband Jordan. I came home to this cuteness Tuesday night.
He was late coming home from work, and I wondered what was going on, and this is why he was late. He'd been at his sister's house making me this fruit bouquet, along with a whole plate of chocolate dipped strawberries. I just had to post it because I think it's so cute, and I just love that sweet boy of mine.

Random Acts Of Kindness

A complete stranger made my day today. I jumped onto Trax in Salt Lake this afternoon and just sat down when this complete stranger came up to me and handed me a beautifully wrapped bouquet of flowers. I smiled and asked him what it was for, and he replied that he was just trying to do his "random act of kindness" for the day. It really touched me, because he looked like he didn't have much money. His clothes were worn, and he was missing all of his front teeth, yet he totally had a glow about him. I have no idea who he was because he quickly jumped off the train, but all I know is that I wish I was the type of person that did stuff like that. I promised him that I would "pay it forward", and I promise I will. Thank you kind mystery man. You made my day a little brighter today.

I have the FEVER...

I'm looking outside at the freezing cold snow coming down, and although it may be beautiful,
it makes me feel sick. Maybe because I have a strong case of SPRING FEVER!!!

Here's a few things that are giving me the fever...

TENNIS!!! I have tennis fever sooooo bad.
Playing raquetball once a week up at school just isn't cutting it any more.

GRADUATION!!... I'm so ready to be done with school. April 24th can't come soon enough. (PS... I don't know who this happy grad is, but his expression describes my Graduation Fever perfectly.)

And last but not least... I have the DISNEYLAND fever!!! I've convinced Jordan to take me there for a graduation present. We're planning on going the day after Graduation for a week before he starts Summer School the beginning of May. If you want to join us you're more than welcome. We'd love some travel buddies :)

So... if you happen to see Mother Nature tell her I'm in need of Spring... BAD!!

The John Family Biggest Loser

On New Year's Eve my parents handed out invitations to join the "John Family Biggest Loser" competition. We all had a big weigh in on January 1st and will have our final weigh in on April 1st. We get $10 per pound we lose, or a dollar for every day we exercise. Jordan and I are really excited. Our first step was to run out and buy a scale. As we bought it Jordan said, "Man, this is totally blowing our profit margin." haha I think this will be really fun. Wish us luck. GO TEAM HARRISON!!!!
The John Family BEFORE photo...we sure are looking like a bunch of BIG LOSERS!!!!
